Order Coordinator (OC)

We are looking for an Order Coordinator (OC) to join our Customer Service / Coordinator Team.  You will assist with guiding and greeting customers, as well as giving instructions on product use, performing clerical/admin tasks and interacting with all sorts of people and staff throughout the day. This position will gradually develop into a full time Event Coordinator.

What you NEED to know!

As an OC, you will be the Receptionist backup with your main duties involving processing orders for customers.  A pleasant, cheerful attitude goes a long way in this position.

You will spend your time assisting customers with their incoming and outgoing rental orders.  When needed, you will also assist with the Administrative Duties of copying & filing, data entry, keeping our area clean and more.  You will also be helping customers understand how to use some of their rented equipment as well as helping them load it into their vehicles.

Lifting is a part of this position to handle outgoing and returned rental products (linens, concession, sound equipment, etc).

Duties you can expect
  • Greeting Customers with a smile
  • Answering phones and determining which coordinator to send the call to and how best to help the customer
  • Data entry of orders
  • Charging of credit cards called into office for order payment
  • Copying and Filing as needed  (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Assisting customers at counter with their rental orders (pickup and return)
  • Learning how to assist customers over the phone with order placement
  • Assisting other departments as needed (order pulling, linen processing, etc).
What you MUST have for this position!

The drive and ability to do a fabulous job and be a superstar!  MUST have a good attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Reading Comprehension Skills: You will need to have excellent reading comprehension skills. You must be able to read and understand the information on customer requests, orders, invoices and load sheets so as to properly determine what needs to happen.

Active Listening Skills: LDA's should have good listening skills in order to follow directions given to them by Management AND customers.

Organizational Skills: You should be highly organized in order to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.

Prioritization Skills: You will have multiple responsibilities over the course of a day. This means you must be able to prioritize your workload based on any time restraints and the most efficient way to accomplish your daily and weekly tasks.
